Together with excellent makeup artists and models in Brussels, we have created few proposals for carnival parties. They are so much more than a makeup or a mask!
Become a Party Animal and just go wild for fun!

Carnival makeup story
Party Animal editorial idea has not came to my mind right away. I love creative makeup and bold ideas, therefore we did a similar photo shoots before. At first, I wanted to have carnival themed editorial. Then, I talked to some makeup artists and different ideas come up.
The tricky part was that I have invited Davina, Nora and Antoine – who are mak up artists graduated from the Makeup Forever Academy in Brussels, however in addition I brought on board two amateur body painters – Barbara Głowa and Bogusia. So we have a lot of different ideas, approaches and visions.
The result was beyond expectations. The Party Animal editorial features so many different designs and represents many styles under one common theme.
Well, it never goes very smoothly. The first round of shooting took place exactly at the time when there was a very heavy storm in Belgium, so Antoine could not travel. Sadly, he had to pass on this Carnival Makeup project.
Also one of our favorite models had to cancel at the last minute. Luckily a friend of another model was readily available. She had no modelling experience, but she did amazing job and I am sure we will work a lot together in the future. I do not mention her name here, as I am sure you would not see a difference. Take a guess if you like!
The editorial has been published on WeLoveBrussels. I’m a contributing author there and with the Carnival Makeup project we shared the talent of Brussels’ artists and models.
Soon the editorial will also be published in the Edith Magazine.
